Sure; it's because of too tight spacing. >From the dvi I got the result: the misplaced upward slurs: \char0 of xslz20 the misplaced downward slurs: \char54 of xslz20 These are the narrowest slurs with 8pt width. For details see xslz.mf and xslz20.mf. They jut out to the left because MusiXTeX aligns slurs at the position of \tslur*. Solution: try PostScript slurs K; using Abp instead of Ab.
