If you need to post- edit the PMX file, the solution is less than 100% satisfying. Here's a thought I haven't tested: Maybe you could put inline PMX commands in the M-Tx source before and after any rp / you wish to eliminate, that record a macro and then stop recording, thereby eliminating the line from PMX processing at that time.
