Hi all. I'm finding that musixtnt.tex (which provides a
user-friendly macro \TransformNotes that re-defines \vnotes)
is incompatible with musixlyr.tex.

For example, the following fails to compile:

\input musixtex
\instrumentnumber2
\setclef1\bass
\input musixlyr
\setlyrics{S}{Hel-lo world!}
\assignlyrics2{S}
\input musixtnt
\startpiece\addspace\afterruleskip%
\TransformNotes{#2&#3}{#2&#3}%
\Notes\ha J&\ibl0j0\qb0j\tqb0j\en
\NOtes&\qa j\en
\endpiece\end

but works if either lines 4-6 or line 9 is commented out.
(In practice, \TransformNotes would not just map input to
output unchanged.)

I don't have sufficient TeXpertise to follow what
musixlyr.tex does (and the comments are in German, which I
don't read). I've sent a message to Rainer Dunker but have
had no reply.

Can anybody help?

Bob T.

P.S.  musixtnt.tex is available from:
