Thank you for your response Dieter. As Bob said, my problem wasn't connected to the using of MusiXTeX itself, but rather its installation. And Bob patiently helped me solve them :) However, I'll take a look at PMX!Bob: The using of a 32bits program on a 64bits windows system is usually not a problem, is it? (unless Miktex is a well known exception?) Julian
