This new release from Dirk Laurie has been uploaded to the WIMA archive: http://icking-music-archive.org/software/mtx/mtx-0.61.zip
The archive includes documentation sources, a zipped texmf tree, OSX and Windows executables and a tar.gz file which can be processed on any Unix-like system with the usual GNU tools. Consult mtx-install.pdf for installation instructions. The mtx-0.61 package has also been uploaded to CTAN but likely won't be available in TeXLive or MiKTeX until 2016.
