If you use musixtex commands directly, especially if you re-define musixtex commands such as \contpiece, you should be aware of two significant changes in 1.21: \lastbarpos\lin@pos will be *removed* from \wbarno@x and *added* after any call of \wbarno@x in musixtex.tex. You should do the same in any re-definitions that call \wbarno@x. \atnextbar will be triggered by \changeclefs before the new clefs are output. Both these changes are to ensure that \centerbar material is centered in the "music region" of the bar; i.e, excluding any initial clefs, time or key signature, or new clefs at the end of the bar.
