I'm having a hard time with getting PMX to fully adapt to the recent changes in MusiXTeX. I'm posting this on the off chance that someone may be able to help. Here's an input file illustrating my current issue:
=================== 1 1 2 2 0 5 0 0 1 1 20 0 t .\ w3i rm10 / Rd m2205 rm11 / Rl m4406 Cb rm12 / Rr Ct rm13 / ================== When run with my recently posted version 2.71 (including the new pmx.tex) and with MusiXTeX 1.21 dated 2015-12-27, it produces mbra.tex and this output: Spacing is not terrible except for the last bar and the extra gap after the bass clef. But the real problem is that the double bar and left repeat are ignored. When run with an experimental version of PMX but the same pmx.tex and musixtex.tex, I get mbrb.tex and this: Horizontal spacing is mostly better, except that now the Hpauses overlap the clefs. I'll buy a beer for anyone who can figure out PMX-code-friendly mods to either tex file that fix this. By that I mean I'd like to keep PMX's own way of posting the new clefs and meters using \pmxclef and \newtimes, although I would entertain necessary mods to their definitions. --Don Simons
