I'm working on PMX, trying to get it to handle (low) octave treble clefs predictably in all possible scenarios. One such situation would be where there is a single instrument with multiple staves, once of which has a normal treble clef and another an octave treble clef. I cannot see how to get MusiXTeX to do this, because in the clef substitution command \settrebleclefsymbol[n]\treblelowoct the argument n is instrument number, not staff number. It seems like within a given instrument, you're stuck with all of the treble clefs being the same. Am I right?
