thank you for the report. You are right, some characters are really
wrong. I've updated TeX4ht sources with your proposed fixes, so they
should be included in TeX Live soon.

I’m writing to suggest fixes/improvements to bbold.htf.
My current version is the latest version available from CTAN on my

My proposed version differs from the current version above in a few
