There were three papers about Texas caves and karst at the recent cave
management symposium in Carlsbad.
karst hydrology, Spring Branch (CM Cave vicinity):

San Solomon Spring area

cave invertebrates in central Texas (abstract only)

Computer or camera nerds might also enjoy
http://www.karstportal.org/sites/karstportal.org/files/KIP-00012007.pdf
about how to make a realistic virtual tour of a very long cave passage
if you have 4000 hours to spare.
The full proceedings volume (~37MB) can be downloaded from
http://www.karstportal.org/sites/karstportal.org/files/NCKRI_SYMPOSIUM_3-full_proceedings.pdf
or
http://scholarcommons.usf.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1046&context=nckms_2013
For some reason neither of these files includes the cover. And
somebody needs to learn how to fix a PDF file so that page i is page i
and page 1 is page 1.
The program and abstracts booklet is at
http://www.karstportal.org/sites/karstportal.org/files/2013%20NCKMS%20Program%20with%20Abstracts.pdf
It contains abstracts of a few abstract-only papers that are not in
the proceedings. Some of the titles of the abstracts are wrong due to
editing errors. The correct titles of the papers are in the program
section.
