Our local newscasts start every day with "This is (whatever number) day of the government shutdown." Reminds me (remember, I'm a really old person) of the News during the Iran Hostage period: "This is day 132 of the Iran hostage crisis." Instead of calling this a shutdown or furlough, they should call it the American public hostage crisis. ________________________________ Date: Wed, 9 Oct 2013 20:20:50 -0500 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] CC: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [Texascavers] Cavers on furlough A helicopter will work wonders when the front gate's locked.
