Would you like to go see the 3D caving thriller Santum together? We could g=

Sunday afternoon during the Super Bowl (do they have that every year?), sor=

of as an Anti-Super Bowl statement. Sanctum starts
Friday night and is playing at the Cinemark Megaplex 17 theatre across the
street from the Taco Cabana
where we go after grotto meetings.
I will get back to you with a proposed time once I can find the times on
Sunday. It'll be the earliest showing in the afternoon, during their matine=
e
time. I propose that we wear caving gear, like we did when we saw Journey t=
o
the Center of the Earth in 3D a few years ago.

It was entertaining and exciting. The cave passages above and below the
water line were very nice. The 3D effects didn=92t add all that much to th=

movie, I would have preferred just a good HD version. They didn=92t have m=
any
3D effects just for the oohs and aahs. The 3D did add a sense of really
being there with the actors at times.
I enjoyed it, will probably see it again, and will certainly buy the DVD
when it comes out.
