Hi all,
Some of you have heard, but perhaps many have not. Jim Cox, long time New Mexico caver from Albuquerque, was injured on Saturday, when a rock chip struck his eye. It was thrown back when he was using a rotary hammer drill to break up some rocks on his property. Unfortunately, doctors were not able to save his eye and had to remove it. According to his wife, Anne, Jim is recovering at home and is very tired and sore right now. His recovery time should be 4-6 weeks. He is not up to visitors right now. Perhaps in a few weeks. Send your cards to: Jim Cox, 9901 Southern Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123

Steve Peerman

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." attributed to Mark Twain, but no record exists of his having written this.
