Charles,
I did receive your other request and I can't come up with any other cave
around here that you would be able to visit. Maybe Bill did?
PBSS gated and keeps an eye on Ess Cave, near Iraan. (About 1-1/2 hours from
Sonora). One of us would want to take you--perhaps Bill is available, as Kel
and I will be at Fort Stanton that weekend.
The Caverns will be terrific!
I'm curious about your brother and glad that he has been able to get so much
back. My brother had a stroke 5 years ago (he was 50). It affected the left
side of the brain so he lost speech. He's back but I can't give a
percentage--he will never be able to do the job he had when he had the
stroke and he continues to be unemployed. He is a serious kayaker and mtn
biker and his 9 year old daughter loves it that Dad is there before and
after school, so not completely devastating.
Anyway, now you have another remailer! We don't do much more than trip
announcements, meeting notes, etc--more like the NM remailer than
Texascavers. If you remember, by all means mention the dig at your grotto
meeting--you might pick up a carpooler. But we dig with whomever we have and
we have a great time regardless.
Thanks for your interest and sorry I can't be more helpful on the Sonora
area caving. Jacqui

Jacqui, the dig wasn't mentioned at the grotto meeting I don't think,
and I forgot to mention it. So I'm probably not on Diana's list.
I'll make it a point to bring it up at the September meeting.
I've joined the PBSS mailer, thanks for that. I didn't know it was a
public list.
btw, did you get my other message about a cave request in your area?
