Imagine if your neighborhood only had one or two gas stations and that they were closed on Sunday and they only had one pump for 2 lanes of traffic.
That is the way I remember the early 70's gas crisis. Back then, I could have never imagined a RaceTrack Gas Station with 24 pumps, nor one where you could use a touchpad to order a deli lunch while you were filling up. Has anybody seen th price of full-service gas? If there is such a thing as full-service gas, I doubt it is anything like what it was back in the 60's.
