This is a low budget Irish movie.

The cave scene in the movie lasted about 10 seconds and it was too dark
to see the passage walls.
Some of the cave scene was filmed in southern Tennessee or Northern
Alabama? Collegedale, Tennessee was mentioned in the credits.
The actor in the extra features said they went to a cave in Alabama.
The cave entrance was a Sea Cave - probably
in Ireland.
The intended audience is young teenagers. There is a very
slight protestant
message to the movie, but the movie is mainly about a teenage boy who
is going through the early pains of his parents divorce.
The directors did a good job with the budget and the script they had.
The cinematography and music were adequate.
But I wouldn't recommend spending money on the DVD.
The movie never let us develop a bond with the actors. It was too scary
for little kids, even though it was not meant to be scary. It was
too boring
and predictable for adults.
The script of the movie apparently follows a children's novel titled
"Secret of the Cave,"
by Arthur Maxwell.
