I didn't know you're a birder. Any other "serious" birders out there? Eaton Hill, Sonora's 38-acre wildlife sanctuary, has numerous avian residents and is host to many passers-through. We have nesting Black-capped vireos! I'm new to birding, started getting serious because it's my part-time job to keep track of things on the Hill. And it's a fascinating activity, taking pictures and keeping track of dates, times, weather conditions, etc. So now I'm officially a contributor to the VSC...
