The deepest _explored_ cave is there in Georgia (actually in Abkhasia,
which considers itself independent). But the real deepest cave in the world is
Sistema Cheve, with the deepest proven potential (by visually positive dye
trace) of any karst system in the world at over 2500 meters. We've explored
over 10 km at the resurgence and 26 km at the top but there's still a large gap
in the middle. We're working on it. By contrast, Voronja is near it's maximum
depth, with only about 100 m of potential left. Someday we'll beat 'em!
