I would assume that when "counting" the bats in Frio Cave they made the count in August or September and not in May or June or at least an average. I don't remember the time frame for the counting process. I will probably be at Frio Cave this weekend to show it to some friends although I preferred the early days when you didn't have to pay to see it. Fritz

Is the 100 million bats figure in that press release that Atkinson sent us before or after the researchers think they determined that there are a lot fewer bats in caves such as Frio than had been thought for decades? Also, how much per acre is 1.7 million dollars? Helps to keep these things in perspective.... --Mixon ----------------------- You may "Reply" to the address from which this message was sent, but note the following permanent addresses for long-term use: Personal: [email protected] AMCS: [email protected], [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
