I once found some fog resistant stuff that you can rub on to your glasses
and it works really really well, but i found it at the Strawberry Fest in
Poteet, Tx years ago. Sorry i can't remember the name, although I do
remember that it was green, of course I doubt that helps any.

As far as contacts go though. I much perfer to cave in contacts, you don't
have the problem of helmet hitting the top of your classes and making them
go all askew, or sweating and having them slide down your nose. I have
honestly never had much of a problem with getting stuff in my eyes, and I
feel that I can see more clearly in caves because there isn't any dirty
class to look through. Plus I was always afraid of my glasses breaking in a
cave and then not being able to see at all, with contacts you don't have to
worry about that. If you are really scared of grit getting in your eyes
while caving in contacts, you can just carry some hand sanitizer and contact
solution with you (they make both of these in really really little bottles)
and fix that problem easily. Plus if things go blurry while wearing
contacts all you have to do is blink to clear things up rather than trying
to clean your glasses without scratching them or making them more dirty when
you are already covered in mud.
