It would seem to me that to get brighter with LED is at a high cost of
battery life & run time. This kind of defeats the whole purpose of a low
power consumption long lasting light. But I guess the LED is a bit more
rugged than a lamp with a filament...However my Kohler Miner's type Wheat
lamp still has the original bulb in it and it was used for 22 years before I
retired it. So either I got lucky or they make some damn good bulbs!
