This message is for San Antonio cavers that plan to pass thru Houston while
on the way to
the NSS Convention.
[ Most cavers in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California
will take the route thru Dallas to get to Huntsville, Alabama. ]
So, this may post may be of no merit.
If you are taking I-10 thru downtown Houston, then
I have a place where you can pull off the road if you need a break or to
sleep
in your car. It is so close to Interstate 10, that you will need
earplugs to
sleep.
The address is 4209 Chester St. It is about 3 miles west of downtown
Houston at I-10 and Patterson St.
Just pull your car into the back yard and set up camp. It looks
cheezy,
but it is shady and free.
The house there has a bed and a bathroom and kitchenette, and is available
if I am still in town or if you e-mail in advance.
