At a store called Big Lots, they have a solar-powered flashlight that has 5 LED bulbs. The flashlight is only $ 7.00. It looks cheaply constructed, but it works. Surprisingly, I did not buy it.
Recently, I posted something about some new headlamps that use the lithium CR2 batteries. Ganger Mountain Store now carries 2 varieties of this headamp. The lamps looks identical. One has the Browning label and is about $ 60.00 and the other has no name brand is $ 30.00. The advantage I see to these lights is in using the new rechargable Lithium-ion batteries. I have also seen a LED lantern that uses 30 bulbs. I think that was at REI or maybe at WEPC. David Locklear
