Many thanks to Dennis Welch for his report on the NSS Convention. Shows what
young and eager cavers can do when there's a convention in a good caving
area. It's been years since I've even taken caving gear to a convention
(been there, done that). Of course, there's plenty for us old farts to do,
too, especially someone who knows so many people from previous conventions
that it takes an hour to get across the campground to the john, for all the
visiting.
I spent a lot of time selling AMCS publications. The AMCS sold thousands
$$$ worth of books on Mexican caving. Thanks to Rune Burnett and Susan
Souby for helping me unload and set up, Jerry Fant for minding the store off
