One of the things on my convention itenarary was to take my baby daughter on
her first trip
into a cave.

We did this Saturday on the way home. The cave was at a state park called
Rickwood
Caverns.

The tour is a thru trip. The baby enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.

I wished I had taken a sling to carry her, as lugging a 23 pound baby, down 150
feet of stairs,
walking a 1/2 mile thru a cave, and then back out is sort of tiring.

The cave had a few decorations, but was mostly interesting because of the
winding passages.

This park is a nice place to camp with plenty of shade and a swimming pool.

Did I miss anything in that area?

I would like to go back there again someday, but it is an 11 1/2 hour drive
from my house.

We also stopped off at a scenic place called "Natural Bridge." This place
is a big rock shelter.
with a very large archway in front of the shelter. I have a jpeg of that, if
you interested.
