The problem with lists of underwater cave depths is that there is a lot of comparing apples to oranges. On the top-four list that Mark Minton just posted, only one of the depths has actually been reached by someone (Bushmansgat). Zacat�n's depth is plumbed, and the quoted depths in the other two were reached by ROVs. It is possible that none of those depths are really the total depths of the caves. --Bill Mixon
