Who would have ever thought that a celebrity like Elon Musk ( who has quite
a bit of
respect in the tech world ), would get into a public spat with the diver
who was most familiar
with the cave - publicly calling the caver "pedo guy" for the whole world
to see.

I had no problem with Musk or the Thai divers testing the rescue-device in
the cave.
In fact, it seemed like a good idea to at least test it to show the effort
was sincere,
and that it wasn't feasible for this particular rescue. Maybe someday,
it will work
in a similar but larger cave. Or maybe they can sell it to give tourist
a ride through
a sump somewhere.

Mr. Unsworth clearly came across as an a**-hole in his recent interview, or
that at
least he misspoke. I can imagine, though, that a possible rescue was
stalled while the
plans to work out a pod-capsule were thoroughly considered and that p*ssed
him
off for numerous reasons, because he knew it would never work and nobody was
probably listening to him. It also seems plausible, that he is
disgruntled because at least
2 weeks of his life were spent in misery there, patiently waiting for
things that normally do
not take so long, and that he likely had to pay for all of his expenses
during the time he
spent there. He should have waited to write his book, than to get all
nasty in the interview
telling Elon publicly to use his rescue-device as a his own personal enema
or that Elon
deserved to be expelled from the cave.

I can only assume that Elon was upset enough to dig up some dirt on Mr.
Unsworth's
extracurricular activities in Thailand, where it is common for men to
experiment
with the culture there with things that are not normal in other places in
the world.
After all, Elon probably spent a million dollars on all that, postponing
critical work
to his hyper-loop.

So now the question is what will be the next ironic twist ? and will
that be in
the movie ? My guess, is that the movie will have a name like:

Had the boys been able to remain at Pattaya Beach ( Chamber 3 ?? ), this
rescue
would have been far less dramatic. But apparently, the boys had already
gone too far in and could not get back to Pattaya Beach.
