This is a follow-up to my last post about a new lava cave.

I am sad to report that it looks like my newly found lava cave has been
swallowed.

If you skip to 1:07 in the video you will see the resurgence exit of the
lava from the cave ( to the left of the word "Tropical" is now
stagnant, and there is no longer a skylight to the left of there, nor is
the lava channel flowing in underground lava
towards the exit of the cave as it was two weeks ago.

It looks like everything near the community of Pohoiki is going to be
destroyed in the next
month or two.

I have not heard anybody yet compare the magnitude of this to other famous
lava flows.
I have never seen anything like this.

Lava currents, and lava ripples and lava waves and lava whirlpools are
fascinating.

P.S.

I still don't have any game plan for a "Hail Mary Pass" to get to the
NSS Convention. I have clicked on the plane-ticket button numerous
times, but just didn't have the "huevos" to click the pay button.
