I had a blast at the convention hitch-hiking.

I hitch-hiked a ride to The Howdy Party from my hotel from the bass-player
in the band that performed. I did the "Wayne's World skit" for him ( where
Wayne and Garth met Alice Cooper ), and he chuckled. "I'm not worthy."

Two members of the Terminal-Siphons rock-band found me along a wet road
near the campground this afternoon and took me to the high-school. ( The
lead-guitar player and his wife, the tambourine player. )

The only events that I attended this year were that I very briefly looked
at the maps, and spent less than ten minutes at the Fine Arts Salon. The
small sculpture of the salamander in the pool was awesome. I loved it.

I bummed a ride from there with TAG-caver Gerald Moni. His rescue movie,
is one of my favorites. I bought his dinner at the local Mexican
restaurant, which is now my favorite Mexican restaurant. He had never had
food like I ordered.

I saved his life in Sumidero de Acahuizotla, but his version of the story
is that he was just under water a little longer than he expected. He
don't even remember.

My next Craigslist chauffeur is p*ssing me off. I was hoping to be on the
road tonight heading towards Arkansas. I am starting to sense that he is
instead just a internet troll just ph*cking with me.

I did learn today that the person that I thought was missing and maybe in
danger ( the one that I was trying to search for ), had very recently spent
a night in jail. I have long abandoned any desire to help them.

My custoners back home are really making me want to toss my cookiea. I
need to close my business and just live under a bridge like 20,000 other
Houstonians do.
