I do not have a good way to communicate with distant caving friends. The latest rumor is that the FAA might maybe possibly let Mr. Musk and team launch tomorrow, August 21st, with a window thru August 23rd. If any of you happen to find yourself near Arcola, Texas on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 28th, feel free to drop by and watch Cavepearl's quincenera celebration. I have no earthly idea what is going to take place, but the facility is a new community center at the back of a master-planned subdivision called "Sienna Plantation." There is a scenic patio with a small pond, but they did not rent that part of the facility. Hopefully nobody else did at the same time. Maybe I am just being an old grouch, but I am not yet into this Quincenera fad, which in my opinion is far worse than trying to keep up with the Joneses - meaning pretending to be affluent and traditional, and borrowing lots of money to do all that.
