I couldnt agree more with Bill. If I wanted to see everyone's kneejerk opinion about the topic of the second I'd stay of facebook all the time. At least cavers there have things like Hazel Barton's webcasts.
I have some questions for the micro-blasting community. Do folks prefer rifle, pistol or shotgun powder ? Is there a preferred type, faster or slower burning, spherical vs extruded types ? Is the common perception that the work is done by gas expansion or does shock wave from ignition have any effects. ignition methods, were do folks get igniter wire ? I have a whole lot of Accurate 5744 someone gave me. anyone have experience with it. Does anyone use black powder ? There is a lot of information out there about reloading and I really look forward to a nice discussion of current practices and perceived knowledge on this. Cavers have a very special relationship with maps and mapping. I'v pointed this out often. They also love to blow stuff up.
