Not dead yet! We still do a lot of bolt climbing in Germany Valley and elsewhere. With modern, lightweight tools it is easier than it used to be. I'll be 70 next month. I don't know who the oldest person to do bolt climbs in Carlsbad is, but I must be in contention. :-)
