What about add three environments: solution, question and answer? Then question
and answer are uesd in the first case, and problem and solution are used in the
second case. This way would be cleaner. Best.

The difficulty here is that the semantics is not completely clear. Sometimes,
you might want to put the solution just after the problem, in a similar way as
a proof. But it also frequently occurs that solutions are put at the end of a
document, and the numbering has somehow to be kept in sync with the numbering
of the problems. These are some of the reasons why a solution environment does
not exist yet, but it is quite easy to add one in a personal style file. >>> >

environment (assuming your semantics). Best, --Joris
