Yes, this could be. An alternative solution would be to allow 'solution' and 'answer' to have an optional 'label' argument (or define solution-to and answer-to environments to this effect). If absent, then we assume that it behaves in a similar way as proof. We might also have a 'proof-of' environement, along similar lines.
