-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
hereby I apply for taking over the maintainership for the SensitiveTicketsPlugin. It has been explicitly marked by the current/previous maintainer "up for adoption" on 21-Aug-2010 [1]. Part of my plans is collaboration with Ryan, who did something to the related PrivateTicketsPlugin [2] lately, since there is a fundamental design flaw, that both, PrivateTicketsPlugin and SensitiveTicketsPlugin share: Loss of the plugin causes sensitive information disclosure [3]. This is obviously calling for a totally different approach, so there might be nothing as before after I'm/we're finished. But as always there is some real world demand behind the scene, that drives me to attempt a substantial improvement here. And finally all that is in line with an publicly announced long-term effort to build up (parts for) a more trusted Trac application [4]. Thank you for considering my application, Steffen Hoffmann (hasienda) [1] http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/SensitiveTicketsPlugin?action=diff&version=15&old_version=14 [2] http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/PrivateTicketsPlugin [3] http://trac-hacks.org/ticket/5784 [4] http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracDev/TrustedTrac -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk1kGVkACgkQ31DJeiZFuHeO8QCfZaqvqWhQ3DKQra743Yr+jBzy nusAoNPdmBoCN+sKlZ0ElIwSG3iwziNy =rDci -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ th-users mailing list th-users@lists.trac-hacks.org https://lists.trac-hacks.org/mailman/listinfo/th-users
