Hi,
Many of us think that the RSS and all its affiliates are evil incarnate. Off
and on we hear about the Saffron Brigade and the RSS Parivar 'goons' in the
press. Sometimes these reports are correct and justified and sometimes they are
incorrect and hyped up, but remain uncorrected later. The press seldom mentions
the good work often done by these so called "Saffron goons'.
During the terrorist attack, many of Mumbai's citizens showed an exemplary
spirit of helpfulness and courage. The Sangh Parivar volunteers were also a
part of this effort, though we have not heard any mention of these in any press
report or TV program. I would like to forward the press release by the Vishwa
Samvad Kendra, Mumbai regarding the work done by Sangh volunteers in helping
those who needed assistance, regardless of religion or caste. (I have no
intention of starting an exchange of emails on the demerits and 'evil acts' of
the Sangh Parivar starting with "yes, but.......)
