Very interesting! Regarding the other viewyou expressed, I am writing elsewhere; here the assimilation as oorodu othu vazh is misinterpreted I think. It is not my and your different views. As Tiruvalluvar said if ulagam pazhithadhu ozhithu vidin viz, if the oor or a place where we reside, adopts a system of fair play and good habits, then even , the vedic rituals and dharma in extra loads are not needed viz mazhithalum neettalum vendavaam. Where the system of fair play and good habits are in vogue, yes, one has to go along with the place of residence culture to balance. The whole country of India went along with the Muslim nad christian rulings for centuries till a Shivaji and Gandhi entered the arena; they did not go along with the place habits but revolted for freedom, because the character of the nationality was forgotten by the oor or place ;hence assimilation is do not compare attitude, is welcome where the coagulation will reflect a pure water; but where it is not, assimilation is a misnomer.
