Q1         How is the sugar from fruit different from the sugar you buyat the
store?

A1          Ray Schilling December 6-2020Physician for 32yrs. 4 books: Ray
Schilling MD, Amazon.com

Sugar from the store is refined sugar (can be brown or white). Thiscontains no
fiber.

Sugar in fruit is bound to fiber. This releases it slower with digestionand the
blood sugars are not elevated as high as with refined sugar.

The insulin response is much higher with refined sugar causing the
extracalories being stored as fat. Withsugar from fruit the insulin response is
not an issue, nor is fat accumulation.

Q2         Is it true that after the war of Kurukshetra Arjuna wants tolisten
Geeta again but Krishna said that he is incapable to spoke the Geetaonce again.
why did Krishna tell this that he is incapable?

A2          Krishna Dutta November16 2020 Devotee of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

Yes it's true that Arjuna wanted to learn the Gita again because he hadforgot
the Bhagawat Gita due to folly. Sri Krishna also told the sentence that he is
incapableof telling so.

Arjuna, filled with joy in the company of Krishna, surveyed thatdelightful
mansion, and then addressed his companion, saying, 'O--mighty-armedone, thy
greatness became known to me upon the approach of the battle. O son ofDevaki,
thy form also, as the Lord of the universe, then became known to me!What thy
holy self said unto me at that time, O Kesava, through affection, has all been
forgotten by me,O chief of men, in consequence of the fickleness of my
mind.Repeatedly, however, have I been curious on the subject of those truths.
Thouagain, O Madhava, wilt repair to Dwaraka soon.'

Vaisampayana continued, 'Thus addressed by him, Krishna of mighty energy, that
foremost of speakers, embraced Phalguna and replied unto him as follows.

'Vasudeva said, 'I madethee listen to truths that are regarded as mysteries. I
imparted to thee truthsthat are eternal. Verily, I discoursed to thee on
Religion in its trueform and on all the eternal regions. It is exceedingly
disagreeable to me tolearn that thou didst not, from folly, receive what I
imparted. The recollection of all that I told thee on that occasion will not
come tome now. Without doubt, O son of Pandu, thou art destitute of faith
andthy understanding is not good. It is impossible for me, O Dhananjaya,
torepeat, in detail, all that I said on that occasion. That religion (about
whichI discoursed to thee then) is more than sufficient for understanding
Brahman. I cannot discourse on it again in detail. I discoursed to thee
onSupreme Brahma, having concentrated myself in Yoga. I shalt now,
however, recite to thee an old history upon the same topic.

But this does not mean that hehad forgot Gita. It’s nothing but his own divine
leela to bewilder athiests andso that we can get another Gita in the form of
Anugita.

Many say that he was Yoga at the time of Bhagawad Gita (Sri Krishna alsosaid
this). But my question is that couldn’t he again concentrate on Yoga? What is
impossible for theomnipotent Lord?

Furthermore, some say that actually Bhagawan Sri Krishnahimself was not
delivering Bhagawad Gita but was occupied by the Parabrahma orBhagawan Shiva
and that’s why couldn’t deliver Gita for the second time. Well, this argument
isbasically baseless because Bhagawan Sri Krishan is  himself Parabrahman. So,
there's no need forhim to be occipied by others to deliver Gita.

Sanjaya himself said thatactually Bhagawan Sri Krishna was speaking himself(
Sanjaya’s words should not be doubted because he had the divinevision given by
Veda Vyasa ji).

Through the favor of (Maharishi) Vyasa I heard this secret concerning
thesupreme Yoga from Sri Krishna, the Lord of yogas, while He Himself was
actuallyspeaking!

Gopala Upanishad says ~

Om. Some sages said to thedemigod Brahma: “Who is theSupreme Personality of
Godhead? Whom does death fear? By knowing whom doeseverything else become
known? Who created this world.

Brahma replied to them: “Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.Death
fears Govinda. By understanding Gopijanavallabha everything becomesknown. By
pronouncing the word “svaha” the Personality of Godhead created theworld.

Mahadev praises Bhagawan Vishnu aka Sri Krishna thus ~

Maheswara said, 'Hari issuperior to the Grandsire himself. He is the Eternal
Purusha. Otherwise called Krishna, he is endued with the splendour of gold, and
shines with effulgence like a second sun. Possessed of ten arms, he isendued
with great energy, and is the slayer of the foes of the gods. Having awhorl on
his breast, he has curly locks of hair on his head. He is worshipped byall the
deities. Brahman has risen from his abdomen. I have sprungfrom his head, All
the luminaries in the firmament have sprung from his hair.

From the bristles on his body have sprung all the gods and Asuras. From his
body have sprung the Rishis as also all the eternal worlds. He is the veritable
abode of the Grandsire and the abode of all the godsbesides. He is the Creator
of this whole Earth, and He is the Lord of the threeworlds He is also the
Destroyer of all creatures mobile and immobile. He is verilythe foremost of all
the deities. He is their master. He is the chastiser of allfoes. He is
possessed of omniscience. He exists in everything. Heis capable of going
everywhere. He is of universal extent (pervading ashe does everything). He is
the Supreme Soul. He is the urger of all the senses. He covers the universe. He
is the Supreme Lord. There is nothing in the threeworlds that is superior to
him. He is Eternal. He is the slayer of Madhu, and is otherwise calledGovinda.
The giver of honours, He will cause all the kings of Earth tobe slain in
battle, for achieving the purposes of the deities, taking birth ina human form.
The deities, abandoned by Him, are unable to accomplish theirpurposes on earth.

Mahamuni Markandeya describesBhagawan Sri Krishna thus ~

O tiger among men, this Janardana attired in yellow robes is the grandMover and
Creator of all, the Soul and Framer of all things, and the lord ofall! He is
also called the Great, the Incomprehensible, the Wonderful and theImmaculate.
He is without beginning and without end, pervades all the world, isUnchangeable
and Undeteriorating. He is the Creator of all, but is himselfuncreate and is
the Cause of all power. His knowledge is greater than that ofall the gods
together.

Sri Krishna explained himselfto Sage Uttanka ~

Vasudeva said, 'Know that thethree qualities of Darkness and Passion and
Goodness exist, depending on me astheir refuge. So also, Oregenerate one, know
that the Rudras and the Vasus have sprung from me. In meare all creatures, and
in all creatures do I exist; know this. Let no doubtarise in thy mindrespecting
this. So also, O regenerate one, know that all the tribes of theDaityas, all
the Yakshas, Gandharvas, Rakshasas, Nagas. Apsaras, have sprungfrom me.
Whatever has been called existent and non-existent, whatever ismanifest and
not-manifest, whatever is destructible and indestructible, allhave me for their
soul. Those fourfold courses of duty which, O ascetic, areknown to attach to
the (four) modes of life, and all the Vedic duties, have mefor their soul.
Whatever is non-existent, whatever is existent andnon-existent, and whatever
transcends that which is existent andnon-existent,--all these which constitute
the universe--are from me. There isnothing higher (or beyond) me who am the
eternal god of gods.

O perpetuator of Bhrigu's race, know that all the Vedas beginning with (the
original syllable) Om are identicalwith me. Know, O son of Bhrigu's race, that
I am the sacrificial stake; I am the Soma (drunk in sacrifices); I amthe Charu
(cooked in sacrifices for being offered to the deities); I am theHoma (that is
performed); I am those acts which sacrificers perform forgratifying the
deities; I am even the pourer of the sacrificial libation: and Iam the Havi or
libation that is poured. I am the Adharyu. I am the Kalpaka; andI am the highly
sanctified sacrificial Havi. It is me whom the Udgatri, in thegreat sacrifice,
hymns by the sound of his songs. In all rites of expiation, OBrahmana, the
utterers of auspicious Mantras and benedictions fraught withpeace hymn my
praises who am the artificer, O foremost of regenerate ones, ofthe universe.
Know, O best of regenerate person, that Dharma is my eldest-bornoffspring,
sprung from my mind, O learned Brahmana, whose essence is compassionfor all
creatures. Constantly transforming myself, I take birth in diversewombs, O best
of men, for upholding that son of mine, with the aid of men nowexisting in or
departed from the world. Indeed, I do this for protectingRighteousness and for
establishing it. In those forms that I assume for thepurpose, I am known, O
sonof Bhrigu's race, in the three worlds as Vishnu and Brahman and Sakra. I am
theorigin and I am the destruction of all things. I am the creator of all
existentobjects and I am their destroyer. Knowing no change myself, I am the
destroyerof all those creatures that live in sinfulness.

Brahma Samhita says ~

Kṛṣṇa who is known asGovinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful
spiritual body. Heis the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the
prime cause of allcauses.”

So, Bhagawan Sri Krishna is the supreme Parabrahman himself. Why will hebe
occupied by some other?

Bhagawan Sri Krishna hasalready delivered the Gita to Sun God Vivaswan before
any other has told Gita.

The Supreme Lord Shree Krishna said: I taught this eternal science of Yogto the
Sun-god, Vivasvan, who passed it on to Manu; and Manu in turn instructedit to
Ikshvaku.

BG 4.1

So, Bhagawan Sri Krishna only was delivering Gita not any other. So,those who
say that Sri Krishna was possess by some other and that's why hecouldn't tell
Gita again, they need to see the above quotes.

Now, another myth is that Bhagawan Sri Krishna forgot Gita. LOL.

If he really forgot Gita, then how did he deliver the same Bhagawad Gitaagain
to Sri Uddhav at the time ofhis departure from material world? And this part
was far later to the Anugitaepisode. This tells that he didn’t forget Gita.

Conclusion : Actually Bhagawan Sri Krishna here was acting like a normalhuman
being and wants to deliveranother Gita in the form of Anugita. Some times, Lord
acts like this tobewilder athiests. Madhavacharya called this pastimes of God
as ‘Asura MohanLila ‘.Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya!

Q3         Why do people in Andhra prepare idli with 'idli rava' andnot from
urad Dal and rice batter mix?

A3          Vijaya Lakshmi UpdatedApril 4, 2019-Food · Knows about most of the
Indian foods.

Andra people do not prepare idlis with just idli rava. We mix idli rava in wet
ground urad dal (black gram) batter.Andhra people’s proportion for idli is one
cup of urad dal +2 cups of idlirava.

In Tamilnadu they grind both together whereas Andhra people grind uraddal and
add idli rava to that batter.

Edit: After reading some comments, I understood where the confusion was.So I am
elaborating my answer.

There are many types of idlisbut for comparison i am writing about three types.

1. Tamilnadu and Kerala type urad dal Idli: They grind 1 cup of soaked uraddal
with 3 cups of soaked parboiled rice (also called idli rice in someplaces). The
texture of these idlis would be sponge like with less pores. Theyuse this
batter for both idli and dosa. They love the spongy texture, so theymake that
way.

2. Andhra, Telangana andKarnataka type urad dal idli:Here only urad dal is
soaked in water and is wet ground. Idli rava, which is the rava of parboiled
rice (idli rice) is added tothe batter. Thisgives a grainy texture and have
more pores. We love grainytexture so we add idli rava instead of grinding idli
rice along with urad dal.Our urad dal to idli rava proportion is slightly
different. It is for one cupof urad dal 2 cups of idli rava is added so the
aroma of steamed urad dal ismore prominent in this type, which we love. We make
dosa batter separately asmentioned at point #1.

3. Rava Idli: This is completely different from the above two. It is madewith
semolina (with which we make upma), but not idli rava. No dal batter is added
to it. It is fermented withcurd and a pinch of baking soda. It is eaten all
over South India. When thereis no time for grinding dals this type of idli is
made.

Edit: There are some other variations to idlis, which are mentioned inthe
comments. Please go through them too.

Q4         Why did Lord Vishnu send King Mahabali to the netherworld?

A4          Pruthwi Ajay September 2-2020Software Developer (2015–present)

Vamana Avatar of lord Vishnu was meant only to see that the power of thedemons
does not increase. As havingone righteous demon would not change the whole set
of demons.

King Mahabali was a pious and rightful king who ruled his kingdom withDharma.
King Bali was a demon, but his nature was quite opposite to that of thedemons
and was always keen in doing good to everyone. Under his rule all peoplewere
happy. He is an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu and Maha Laxmi.

King Bali was powerful and defeated all the Devas. He started to
performAswamedha Yagnas. Theperformer of 100 yagnas can become Lord Indra. He
wasperforming the final yagna of 100 yagnas to be performed. To restrict
KingMahabali, Indra approached Lord Maha Vishnu to save his throne from
Mahabali.Lord Vishnu agreed to Indra and other Gods.

Lord Vishnu disguised himselfas a dwarf and a poor Brahmin (Vamana avatar) to
visit the kingdom of Mahabali. When asked about his wishes, Vamana askedthe
king to grant him land covered by his three feet.

Mahabali agreed to fulfil Vamana’s desire without a second thought. But Vamana
started to grow insize and his first foot covered the earth and with the second
he covered thesky. With no place left uncovered, Mahabali requested Vamana to
placethe third foot on his head, thus, burying himself into Pathala.

Pleased Lord Vamana granted theselfless demon king Mahabali to remain at his
doorstep. Lord Vamana also gave another boon to KingMahabali to rule Patala lok
(netherworld). King Mahabali also granted with a boon that he be allowedto
visit his people and his kingdom once in a year.(ONAM) . He is
anImmortal(Chiranjeevi) according to Hindu mythology

After the end of Kaliyug , Mahabali will become an Indra and rule theheaven.

Q5         Why do puris float on the oil while frying?

A5          Bhuvana Rameshwar UpdatedJanuary 22-2021Indian Recipes · Happy
cooking and eating

When the dough for pooris is made it is left to soak for some 15 mins. The dough
is then rolled into medium sized and medium thick pooris.

These are fried in slightly hotoil. Drop them or slide them slowly in oil.
Immediately the poori rises up andswells with hot air and steam in between. We
fry them on the other side too without puncturing the poori, otherwise oil may
enter in. Thecooked dough keeps the expanded hot air and steam intact.

Now why do pooris float on oil ? That's because the density of the oil ismore
than the density of the poori as now its average density is

(Density of dough + density of the trapped air /steam ) /2.

This average density of the fried poori is much lower than that of theoil. So
pooris float on oil.*

When the poori cools the air contracts in volume and steam changes towater.
Thus poori gets flat unless they add rice flour in thedough which keeps the
poori in the puffed up form even when cool.
