Q1         Is it safe to take expired vitamins? Do they ever go bad?

A1          Karen Marie Shelton UpdatedOctober 17-2020 Multi Media Magazine
Consumer Hair Editor (2000–present)

Approximately 20 years ago I worked with an award winning chemist tocreate a
customized hair vitamin just for me.

One of the topics the chemist and I talked about most frequently was how
quickly the vitamins would losetheir potency.

Yes indeed, vitamins, regardlessof what they are designed to do, lose their
value over time.

All vitamins, no matter what any expert might say, have a pre-determinedshelf
life.

Taking an expired vitamin mostlikely won’t harm you, but it will have
absolutely no nutritional value.

You’re basically throwing the money you invested into the wind when youtake
expired vitamins.

Never Buy Vitamins In Bulk

One good reason not to buy vitamins in bulk is because you may have adifficult
time using them before the expiration date.

How vitamins are stored and shipped can also impact their effectiveness.

My company learned never to pre-order too many vitamins in advance.

In fact, we would always order based on a Just In Time (JIT) strategy sothat we
could guarantee our vitamins were as fresh as possible when ourcustomers
received them.

Note: Just-in-time(JIT) is an inventory strategy companies employ to increase
efficiency anddecrease waste by receiving goods only as they are needed in
theproduction process, thereby reducing inventory costs. This method
requiresproducers to forecast demand accurately.

Sometimes if there were delays in the manufacturing process, we would cutit
close with our supplies, but I felt it was better than having aginginventory on
hand.

The following factors willspeed up a vitamin losing it’s effectiveness:

Exposed to heat. Stored in direct sunlight.Left out in the air. Alwayskeep the
tops and caps on open vitamin bottles.

Humidity

When packaged in clear bottles. The best protective packaging is in dark-tinted
or dark blue or opaque bottles.

When you shop for vitamins in a store and the vitamins are near thewindows or
under bright lights, you may want to reconsider their freshness.

If you notice any dust on the shelve holding the vitamins or
surroundingproducts, you may also wish to avoid purchasing those products.

If the expiration date on thebottle is marked out or covered, this can also be
a warning sign.

When possible buy your vitamins directly from the manufacturer. Thefurther down
the distribution chain you go, the less secure you can be abouthow the vitamins
were shipped, stored, handled and displayed.

Our warehouse was refrigerated and we had special areas for our vitaminswhere
they were guaranteed the optimal storage conditions. Plus our averagevitamins
had expiration dates up to 3 years in advance, because we were theonly
distributors.

Vitamins can be tremendous tools for building health or helping withspecial
concerns. The key is to get the very freshest vitamins possible.

A2          Ritesh Kumar Mishra February1-2021-Philosophy · Keen to share

A rich man went to a Monk, he listened about his greatness so he wascurious to
meet him. One day, he went to his hut and greeted him.

Monk allowed him to sit besidehim and asked, “Tell me, what can I do for you?”

I have come here to get the answer of my unanswered question, can I askyou sir?

Monk smiled and said,” sure.”

What is the secret of happy life? Question raised by rich man.

Monk said, ”Just feel content with what you have.”

“You mean now I should be satisfied with what I have and stop earning further.”
Rich man asked with doubt.

“I didn't say that, I have just told you to feel satisfied with what youhave
right now, and then you should move ahead in life.Whenever you achieve
something, feel satisfied and whatever you have right now,be thankful to god.

Never stop earning but you should feel content with what you possessright now.”
Monk replied.

Q3         What is something you will never understand?

A3          Deepika Yadav February 1-2021PursuingNutrition

The fear of so called “society”in our parents.

Last year in January, I went to my in-laws home for the second time
aftermarriage and didn't know much about their culture and traditions because
me andmy husband are from different states.

So when I got down from the car, my sister-in-law was sitting in theveranda on
a chair and my mother-in-law was also working there. After a quickchit chat
with them, Idecided to sit and grabbed another chair and sat on that.

Maa immediately asked me to getup and grab a patta (wooden stool) and sit on
that and never to sit on a chairin veranda again.

This is a wooden stool and we call it a patta.

I was shocked at that moment and felt insulted that why am I not allowedto sit
on a chair while my sister-in-law can sit?

I didn't say anything at that time but by looking at my face, Maarealized that
I am not happy with this and she took me inside and told me that in their
villagedaughter-in-law's are not supposed to sit on chair, they always have to
sit onthe ground or patta.

I tried toargue with her that this so wrong, why are we treated like this in
our ownhomes? Andshe said we can't do anything about this. This is how society
works here andyou have to obey the rules when you're here.

You see, my mother-in-law is not a bad person. She is gem of a person but her
fear of society isway too much. She loves me a lot and I would say she is
changing a lot as well but I hope one day she understand that this is so wrong.

Q3         What did you eat, only to regret it moments later?

A3          Alina Sheikh February 1-2021-CAaspirant from The Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

When we(me and my cousin) were 8 years old One fine Sunday, I waswatching my
favourite cartoon on T.V.

I was totally enjoying it until my cousin came and asked Hey! Do you want to
eat paan?

(Paan is the leaves of betel plant wrapped around fruit etc. ,can also
bewrapped around tobacco, and chewed.)

I asked totally confused-Where did u get it?“Just come I’ll show you “ hesaid

I followed him to our garden outside, we stood in front of a plant which
according to him had “betel leaves”.

He then took 2 leaves for both of us and added 1 spoon of sugar andfolded the
leaves just like a paan. He gave 1 to me and ate one himself.

5 minutes after consuming it we both felt fire in our mouths.

Our mouths burned like hell! The throat felt as if there were thornsinside it.

We came running back inside to our mother. After seeing the doctor andcoming
back home we got scolded. We came to know that the leaves that we atewere of
hibiscus and not of betel!

They look very similar and the only difference is that hibiscus leaveshave
toothed edged.

My note- I have added this QA about the danger of chewing hibiscusleaves. I am
also knowing only now it is dangerous to chew hibiscus leaves.

Q4         Why is there Shraddha when there is rebirth?

A4          Anand Balaji, Trainedand Practitioner of Vedic Astrology-Answered
5-2-2021

There are 2 main purpose ofShraddha -

To pay homage to our 'ancestors'. Conceptually, it is a way for people
toexpress heartfelt gratitude and thanks towards their parents and ancestors,
forhaving helped them to be what they are and praying for their peace.

Also this process will ease thedeparted soul to get next birth or liberation
quickly.

My note- Onthis account only I repeatedly write Gaya srardha is for liberation
and pithrubecome Deva and they leave from pithruloka to Devaloka.

Once a pithru become Deva he no more require srardha offerings.Thisis my view.
Those who do not agree can disagree.

Q5         Why was Lord Brahma never depicted as much powerful as LordVishnu
and Lord Shiva?

A5          Parabrahma Mahatmya10-2-2021

Brahma is the materialistic God, he's the topmost soul, amongthe 14 universes,
Lord Brahma’s abode is the topmost abode called Satyaloka.

Lord Brahma has an abode which ismaterialistic and even if you worship him
you'll attain his abode (according toKurma purana).

Brahma is the creator of all universes and he's in the charge of creationof the
universe according to law of action of a particular being.

Lord Vishnu's abode (Eternalvaikuntha) is not the materialistic abode and those
who will be liberated frommortal world will reach this abode. Lord Vishnu alone
is the giver of liberation to mortal beings.

Coming to the Part of Lord Shiva,Lord Shiva himself is Brahma, Vishnu and
Shankar.

Lord Shiva is not the destroyer alone, his complete manifestation Rudrais the
dissolver of the universe.

In every kalpa's end Rudra appears from forehead of that particularkalpa's
Brahma and dissolve up the universe.

The same is confirmed by Mahabharata. The same is confirmed by Shivapurana.

Brahma is the creator sprung fromright side of Brahman whoappeared from the
belly button of Vishnu, Vishnu is the preserver sprung from left side of
Brahman, and finally at the end of universe Kala brahman manifests himself as
KalagniRudra who's the terror of the terrors and the dissolver of the universe
untohis self. For the purposeof welfare of the universe Kala purusha Shiva
himself as took these threeparticular forms. (𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝟮:𝟮𝟭𝗯)

Q6         Why does steam at 100°C feel hotter to touch than water at100 °C if
they both have the same average kinetic energy?

A6          Edward Measure, Ph.D.Physics, Arizona State University (1977)

They may have the same kineticenergy, but the steam has vastly more potential
energy - energy of condensation.

When it contacts a cool surface like your skin, it condenses releasingsomething
like 540 calories per gram before the water it has turned into evencools.

Q7         What is the difference between Kubera and Goddess Laxmi?

A7          Durga Prasad Yadav October16-2020 Works at Mangers (2019–present)

Kubera (Sanskrit: कुबेर) also known as Kuvera,Kuber or Kuberan, is the Lord of
Wealth and the god-king of the semi-divine Yakshasin Hindu culture.

He is regarded as the regent of the North (Dik-pala), and a protector ofthe
world (Lokapala). His many epithets extol him as the overlord of
numeroussemi-divine species and the owner of the treasures of the world. Kubera
is often depicted with aplump body, adorned with jewels, and carrying a
money-pot and a club.

In Hinduism, Lakshmi (/ˈlʌkʃmi/;Sanskrit:लक्ष्मी, IAST: Lakṣhmī; or Lakṣmī) is
thegoddess who leads to one's goal, or lakshya(hence her name), and was first
mentioned in the Śrī Sūkta of theRigveda.

She is the goddess of wealth, fortune, love, beauty,Māyā, joy and prosperity.
She is both the wife and divine energy (shakti) of Vishnu, one of theprincipal
deities of Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnava tradition.

She is often depicted withSaraswati and Parvati as forming the holy trinity
(Tridevi). For mankind, 8 types of goals (lakshmi) arenecessary according to
Hinduism: spiritual enlightenment, food, knowledge, resources, progeny,

Q8         What is the science behind the swastika?

A8          Prof. Shiv BhushanSharma December 11-2020-Science · Explained the
Mind and Consciousness of AGenuine Scientist.

Thought-Provoking Scientific Question! According to Akhand Sutra, the ancient
Indian symbols arefull of science and hidden mysteries of the universe and
Nature. Wecan learn a lot about the hidden mathematics of Divine Nature by
decoding thehidden secrets of ancient Indian symbols. Now, let us explore,
enumerate, andexplain the realscientific and mathematical beauty of Swastik or
Swastika.

Simple Swastik Design:

1. Swastik is made of a Big Square.

2. Two equal perpendicular lines dividing the Big Square into four smallequal
squares.

3. Four straight lines extending to the right sides from the four ends ofthe
two lines.

Can you visualize the picture? Iam certain that you are already aware of the
Swastik Symbol.

Now, let us contemplate the Swastik Symbol.

What does Big Square represent? It is the ancient Indian symbol of
Earth(Prithvi-Bhuta). Hence, Swastik represents solid matter, material
prosperity,and security.

What do four small squares represent? Four directions, North, East, West, and
South. The Essence: NEWS. The Depth Knowledge of Earth.

What do four lines attached to the four ends of two lines represent?
Theyrepresent Dynamism. As a result, the four points of Swastik lead to
eightpoints,

The Eight is the Symbol of Ashtalakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth.Hence,
itrepresents the Shubh Labh (Auspicious Profitability).

Now, let me add a newdimension.

According to Akhand Sutra, the symbol of Earth (Prithvi-Bhuta) andSwastik is
Muladhara Chakra, the lowest center of consciousness in the pelvis.

Kundalini sleeps in Muladhara Chakra.Swastik represents Kundalinisleeping in
Muladhara Chakra.Asa result, it represents the Static Form of Earth.

It also represents the involution of consciousness. When Kundalini risesto
higher centers of consciousness called Chakras, the static form of fourcorners
of Muladhara Chakra becomes dynamic.

The sleeping Kundalini is represented by Pi or 22/7 (Three plus coils
ofKundalini). The awakened Kundalini is represented by 22/21, the one-third
of22/7.This process is called revolution and leads to spiritual evolution
throughten stages of evolution.

The ten stages of revolution and evolution (maturation) follow Divyank, the
Divine Constant.

Divyank: ((22/21) square power of 10.34419) = 1.618034.

1. 22/21: It represents DynamicSwastik.

2. 10: It represents the tenstages of the revolution of innate human
consciousness.

3. 0.34419: It represents the last stage of maturation or evolution.

The Conclusion: Honest Question. Did you expect such an answer?

There are many more hiddensecrets in SRI AKHAND, the symbol, which adorns the
front page of Akhand Sutraand the Home Page of Akhand Vidyashram.

Please contemplate and be enlightened about the scientific beauty ofIndian
Symbols.
