Pranam Vaastu means residence of self an individual; individual includes for this ,a place of people to congregate; a place of worship. a palace. a nation, a city and so on. Vaasthu has three divisions. Srishti, chikitsa and vardha mana. Combining pancha bhutas and 10 directions. and varies from place to place and nation to nation. Feng shui is a parallel variety which teaches the nolders the placements. Mayan is the authority on this. Hence vaastu is not a perfect theory though the definitions and the executions are baseds ,purely on science ,specific to that territory and purpose. It's under the shilpa sastra. Includes the stree and Purusha Lakshana. Combine with astrology to a limited purpose. When the Karma is perfect and the happenings written already, a mere change of name or vaastu cannot change the destiny. On the contrary when the karma and the time is Good , one will find that the home was built only as per the vaastu though he was not aware of it. Also in multi storey flats, announcing VASTU complaint is a hoax. A placebo effect may be created. KR IRS 23521
