A1          Shreyas Sahoo CreativeWriter, Digital Creator June 4

About 2 months ago, I had gone to a nearby vegetable shop to purchasesome stuff
which Mom had asked me to.The owner of that shop knows me very well,He runs
that shop since 20+ years and he is a very kind and lovable person.

I was in a hurry that day as I had an online test and I was not fullyprepared.I
quickly bought whatever I needed and gave it to the uncle forbilling the items.
He did it pretty fast.

Now comes the twist, the total cost of my purchase came somewhere around ₹470
andI just had a ₹500 note with me.

I gave it to him and he said that he didn't have the change as it wasmorning
hours and he had just opened the shop for the day.

Me : Uncle baadme sort out karlenge, 500 rakh lijiye please late ho rahahai.

(Uncle we'll sort out the change later, for now please keep the 500 asI'm
getting late.)

2 days passed and I still wasn't reminded of it.

The doorbell rang of my house. Mom was at work and I opened the door.

It was none other than the shopkeeper uncle, he had come to return thechange of
roughly ₹30 which was with him.

He told me that he too had forgotten about this but got reminded of itthis
morning. He returned the money with a smile and left.

Que : What kind of people do Ilike?

Ans : The hard-working ones whoare also honest.

They will always have my respect, especially those who work very hard toearn a
living and live in discomfort but still stay happy and truthful.

Q2         What was the name of LordShiva Dhanush?

A2          Rupkatha Laik15m ago

The bow which was broken by Lord Rama in the swayamvar of Mata Sita wasknown as
Pinaka .It was given by Mahadeva to Lord Parsuram. Later on Parsuram as
instructed byLord Shiva gave the bow to Maharaj Janaka.

Before going to Janakpuri, Lord Parsuram also went to Ravan . But seeingthe
arrogance of Lankesh, he gave it to Maharaj Janaka.

During the time of the swayamvar of Mata Sita , when none of the Kings
orprinces present was able to lift the bow ; Lord Rama came forward and not
onlylifted but also broke the bow .

Q3         Is it mentioned anywherein the Mahabharata that Parashurama is the
incarnation of Lord Vishnu?

A3          Jainil Rathod Answered7m ago

No. It isn't mentioned inMahabharata. It is not mentioned in Ramayana either.
In fact, the name Parashurama itself is not used for him. He is usuallycalled
as Rama, Jamadagnya or Bhargava…

Q4         If a builder has allottedopen parking space within society premises
and its mentioned in agreement, canthe flat buyer cover it with fabricated
shed? Does it require an permissionfrom society or from the local authority?

A4          Prasanna Bhalerao I havesome experience in real estate deals.Fri

Covered parking constitutes a breach in FSI and built-up floor spacerules. More
than the society, the city council will raise objections. Societymay object but
if all members agree, the society is after all run by membershaving the
majority voice. But it still breaks the corporation rules.

Q5         What temples haveSwayambhu linga has anyone really seen a Swayambhu
linga?

A5          Sunitha Parapatla Devoteeof God Shiva and a Home maker Thu

The Dwaadasa or twelveJyothirlingas.

The Panchabhoota lingas, the five lingas which represent the fiveelements of
the nature.

Pancha-Rama Kshetras, the fivetemples of Shiva’s Swayambhulingas in Andhra
Pradesh namely Amararama, Draksharama, Somarama, Ksheeraramaand Kumararama.

The above mentioned all are theholy places where Shiva setHis Lotus foot, gave
Darshan and manifested himself into a Linga so as toprotect His devotees
forever. These are all Swayambhu, means not human created, but manifested
asLinga form by Mahadev Himself.

There are many other Swayambhu Shivalingas mentioned in many Sthalapuranas, one
which I remember is Dharmastala, Karnataka : in the 10th century, Lord
Parashuramafter killing few cruel Kings came to this place Kadali ( Kadri) and
to relievehim from the sin of killing Kshatriyas, started penance here. Shiva
pleasedwith Parasuram appeared before him as Manjunatha, and blessed Him.

And I consider myself lucky that I have visited Srisaila temple,Srikalahasthi
temple, Arunachaleswarar temple and Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Q6         If after 1857 the name ofgovernor general was changed by "viceroy"
then why was the name"governor general" used in posting the officials
like"Mountbatten" and "C. Raj gopalachari" were also governorgeneral but not
viceroys?

A6          Brajesh Tiwary LL.B andLL. M. , Law fac.,University of Delhi, June 8

Till the time the Government of India Act,1919 was in force, we in India had
Viceroy as thehead of executive (right from the time of 1857 when the
Britishcrown took over the governance in India from the British East India
Company).

But after the time the Governmentof India Act of 1935 came into force, the post
of Governor General was back . Section 3 of the Government of India Act,1935
notonly mentions but also deals extensively about Governor General.

The same post of Governor Generalwas even continued in the Indian Independence
Act of 1947 which had given dominion status to India and thesame dominion
status continued till coming into the force of IndianConstitution in
1950.Section 5 of the Indian Independence Act mentions anddeals about the post
of Governor General .

Now, lord Mount Batten joined hispost in India on 21st ofFebruary 1947 ( when
Government of India Act,1935 was in force ) and thusbecame Governor General of
India. Right thereafter from 15th of August 1947,when Indian Independence Act
came into force again Lord Mountbatten became theGovernor General of India
under the Indian Independence Act of 1947.

Right from the time of 15th of August to 26th of January 1950 (the dateof
coming into force of the Indian Constitution) though India becameIndependent
but the head of the State was still British crown ( onlysymbolical) and the
head of executive and commander in chief of armed forceswas still the Governor
General.

After 26th of January 1950, Indiagot its President as the head of state and
head of executive.

Consequently between the period of 15th of August 1947 and 26th ofJanuary 1950
, India had Governor General as the head of executive andcommander in chief of
the Armed forces.

Thus after Independence, the first Governor General was Mr.Mountbattenand after
him right from 21st of June 1948 to 26 of January Mr.Chakravarti
Rajagopalacharicontinued as the Governor General of India. Thus we see the
titleGovernor General with them.
