1 Cantilever floors normally I have not heard anywhere in India where the
operation of steel heavy or wood light alone is prepared. But wood work in
the USA homes have cantilever floors. Cantilever Engg is like Rameswaram
Pamban Bridge or SFO Bay Bridge where open and shut of the lever , make way
and space for utility of the space.
Air seals the top, bottom, and sides of a cantilevered floor cavity
and ensure that insulation is in full contact with all sides without voids.

   - Install a rigid air barrier or other supporting blocking to separate
the cantilever from the conditioned space above. Seal all seams, gaps, and
holes in the air barrier with caulk or foam.
   - Block and seal any open floor joists abutting the cantilever floor
   cavities.
   - Install insulation without misalignments, compressions, gaps, or voids
to fill the cantilever floor cavity, making full contact with the top,
bottom, and sides of a cantilevered floor cavity
   - Cover the bottom of the insulated cantilever floor cavities with a
rigid, weather-resistant solid blocking material such as plywood or house
   siding.

2 Varalakshmi Puja is a traditional one and unless left over by
initiation by mother or mother in law, it cannot be performed as a new
woman. And if discontinued, the next generation may be able to continue.
3 Wedding, Pujas, and Sradhams are not to be really done lavishly at
all. Where there is a rich guy, who would like to do it, throwing the money
is welcome, as money is distributed; but there shall not be an ego for him
in his doings. The Nair system of wedding is so simple that if you delay
reaching the spot by half an hour, people would have left and the wedding
hall will be empty. The expense party is only part of the getting together,
and not for the wedding as such. Similarly I had seen in Kerala and the
keralites performing elaborate flowers decorated and artistically drawn
expensive style pujas ( Bhagavat seva) . North Indians Poojais are so
similar with the lavish settings. Similarly in the funeral 13 days process
and during the srardham performances, lavish priestly dhanams are
performed. That would tempt the sastrigals to demand equally from others
,today, for funerals and other home pujas. Vedic system had included
certain Yagnas only for the kshatriyas Kings and not for ordinary Brahmins
as the cost of articles was prohibitive. And at the same time the
lavishness is not making the purohits rich but distributing the wealth to
the society.
