The head line was painful. As elders a few wrote to stop the nonsense but he did not listen. He was residing 2 streets away from my street in T Nagar. He wrote so brilliantly every quotation he used from the English authors was so perfect as to call Kattabomman as a thief. I was shocked. My teacher taught me in History that he is a freedom fighter. My father's friend Mr Bhashyam Iyengar @ Sandilyan of Kadal Pura ,Yavana rani etc an Historian regularly come to my home. One day I asked him about this. He was so nice that he said I appreciate your curiosity. Why dont you verify by yourself. So that was my start to travel to Connemara library with him where he is amember and sits for hours to take notes for his novels. I went with a few issues; and took out the references TVanan quoted; I was surprised; everywhere he took the whole thing; removed the negative intonations "NOT"; and reproduced in his magazine which would show only as thief!!. As EVR is used by Dreavida parties, he was quoting, which would lead to the ignorance that Tvanan is SO LEARNED. Really it was tough at that age to climb the ladder and pull out books and come back to record. But Sandilyan uncle was helpful. Then I took a large quantity to TVanan home along with my friend. Respectfully I explained what I found. He coolly brushed them aside. He said if I do not like it let me not buy the magazine as told by Mr G. I do not find G different from TVanan.
