Q1 Which stage of life is GrahasthaAshram?

A1 GrahasthaAshram (the householder stage), the second of the four stages of 
life beginswhen a man and a woman marry and start a household.

Q2 What are the different types of Japas?

A2 Japas are three types. They are

UPANSU JAPA: It is the method where Japais done very slowly so that nobody can 
hear it. Only lip movement should bethere.

MANSIC JAPA : The Japa carried out only in theheart without any sound or lip 
movements.

VACHNIK JAPA : In this method you can recite themantra in a low, medium or high 
tone of your sound.

Q3 What are the different types of mantras?

A3 Aghor Mantras or Sabri Mantras InTantrik Granths, there are many Sabri 
Mantras in local languages, and are veryeffective. These are otherwise known as 
AGHOR mantras.

1, SHANTI KARAN : These mantras are for warding offthe malefic effects and 
influence of planets and go for cure of the diseases.

2. VASHI KARAN : These mantras when used in aspecified way are to bring under 
your control any Devta, Soul, Woman, man,officer, minister etc. and thus you 
can gain according to your desires.

3. STAMBHAN : These mantras deals with all thepersons etc. as above to stop 
acting against you.

4. VIDESHAN : These mantras deal for creatingdifferences between the two or 
many.

5. UCHATTAN : These mantras deals with thedistraction of mind of enemies, 
opponents and other persons so that they remainaway to harm you. Also can be 
used for persons working against their country,birth place, residence, home and 
family members. It creates quarrels betweentwo and many.

6. MARAN : These are death inflicting mantras through which any bodycan be 
killed.

Broadly mantras are divided into three parts as Satwic,Rajsic, and Tamsic which 
respectively indicate Atma uplift, religious andmaterial comforts and death, 
Uchatan, loss of enemies and opponents.

Q4 What is the purpose of Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra?

A4  Maha MrityunjayaMantra is meant for overcoming untimely death, begetting 
relief from most dangerousdiseases and enjoying relief from severe troubles in 
life.

Our bodycontains several divine energies located in every limb and nerve, from 
head tosole. Ancient sages saw the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra as capable of invoke 
theuniversal forces, Lord's energy in various forms including "AshtaVasu", 
"Ekadasa Rudras", "Dvadasa Aduityas","Shat Chakras", "Sahasra Dala", "Three 
Vedas","Four Gunas", " Four Directions etc.

 My note- Many recite Maha Mrityunjaya mantrabefore going  to sleep

Q5 What are remedial measures?

A5  Remedies - This is the most mysterious andcomplicated part of Indian 
Astrology with earliest references coming from theVedas , making the first 
literature available even before the first known texton Indian Astrology was 
discovered.

Q6Who were the wives andchldrens through them of Arjuna other than Panchali?

A6During the period of exile, he married Ulupi, a Naga princess and by her he 
had a sonnamed Iravat. 

Healso married Chitrangada,a daughter of the king of Manipur, and from her he 
had a son named Babruvahan. 

 Hevisited Krishna at Dwaraka and there he married Subhadra, the sister of 
Krishna. By her he had ason, named Abhimanyu

A7 Everybody know that the Mahabharata war lasted 18 days. On the tenth day, 
Arjunawounded Bhishma mortally. He killed many of his adversaries, 
includingJayadratha and others. 

 On theseventeenth day, he was stung by some reproaches of his eldest 
brotherYudhishthir and he would have killed him had not Krishna interposed; on 
thesame day he miraculously escaped being killed by Karna (Arjuna's mother's 
sonfrom the Sun-god before her marriage to his father Pandu) but an accident 
toKarna's chariot gave Arjuna the opportunity of killing him.

 After the victory following Yudhishthir'sAshwamedha horse, Arjuna, besides 
fighting and conquering many kings, also hadan encounter with his own son 
Babhruvahana at the city of Manipur; there he waskilled by his son but was 
restored to life by a Naga-charm supplied by his wifeUlupi. 

 Arjuna wassubsequently called to Dwaraka amid the internecine struggles of the 
Yadavas,the descendants of Krishna. There Arjuna performed the funeral rites 
ofVasudeva, the father of Krishna, and of Krishna himself.

 While he was escorting the wives of Krishna totheir abode, he was humiliated 
and defeated by wayside marauders, which provedto be not only a great 
disappointment for him but also an eye-opener. 
 He realized that all his powers, which were given tohim by Lord Krishna, no 
longer existed after Lord Krishna's death.He was now a commonplace entity. Soon 
afterwards, he retired from the world tothe Himalayas, where he perished in the 
snow along with his brothers andDraupadi.
 Q8 Is there a different meaning than the domonfor ASURA?

A8 YES YES .In the oldest parts of the Rig Veda, theterm was used for the 
Supreme Spirit, the bestowed of beneficence to the world.

 In later times, the word acquired the oppositemeaning and came to signify a 
demon or the enemy of gods.It was in this later sense that later Vedic and the 
still later Puranic periodsapplied the word to those who opposed divine and 
benefic powers

One of the 7 islands or the lokas (q.v.)belonging to the nether world.

 Q 11What is MantraShastra?

A11 Mantra Shastra is the science of Mantra. The word Mantra is derived[1] 
fromtwo words “Mana” or the mind that thinks and “Trai” or to protect. Thus 
mantra is the science oftraining the mind to protect the self. 

 The mantra is thus a collection of “akshara” meant to raise theKundalini 
Shakti from the Muladhara Chakra to the Visuddha Chakra in the firststage (Bhu 
Loka) and either with or without a material objective in view. Inthis stage the 
mantra is recited verbally in a rhythm called Chhanda

Q12 When didkaliyuga started?

A12 Kaliyuga refers to one of the four eon’s which is the present Ageof Iron. 
It started with the disappearance of Bhagavan Sri Krishna in 3102 B.C.

Q13What isMaha-mrityunjaya mantra ?
 This Maha-mrityunjaya mantra is from the Rig-Veda (7th Book or Mandala, 59 
Chapter)and needs initiation for attaining siddhi. Anybody can recite this 
mantra andattain good health, release from bondage and other problems. This is 
thegreatest panacea for all evils and can be recited at any time like any 
otherMaha-mantra. 
The Mahamrityunjaya mantra was taught byLord Shiva to Sukracharya(Venus) the 
preceptor of the demons after he succeededin the impossible test of 
hangingupside down from a tree for twenty years (Vimsottari dasa period) with 
smoke blowinginto him from a fire lit beneath. Even Brihaspati was shocked at 
the prospectof such a terrible penance and calmly settled to observe 
Sukracharya accept thechallenge of Indra and succeed.  

Afterthe penance Lord Shiva taught the Mahamrityunjaya mantra to Sukracharya, 
whounder very compelling circumstances had to teach this to the son of 
Brihaspatiand that is how the devas also got the mantra. This mantra was given 
(sruti) toVasistha Maharishi for the welfare of this world. The mantra and 
explanationgiven by Sukracharya to Rishi Dadhicha when the latter's body was 
cut andthrown by Raja Kshuva is recorded in the Shiva Purana. 

Q14 Whatare Badhak damana mantras?

A14 Themantras associated with the Ganesha Yantra have been taught in 
MantraMahodadhih of Mahidhara. The damana (supression) bija (phoneme) 
issuffixed to these twelve names of Ganesha to obtain the badhak damanamantras. 
These mantras remove all obstacles and ensure that the work iscompleted 
successfully.

Gananaam twa Ganapatim Havamahey Kavim Kavinamupamasravastamam 

Jyestharajam Brahmanaam Brahmanaspata Aa Nah Sranavannutibhih SiddaSadanam

Translation: O Ganesha, Lord ofall seers, praise be to Thee; Thouart Omniscient 
and the unmatched wisdom of the wise. Thou art the precursor(OM) of all prayers 
and the Lord of all souls; we pray for Thy guidance forsuccess in all good 
actions.

Sri Radha, kept fast (sixteenchatuthi's i.e. sixteen monthson Chaturthi tithi) 
and worshipped Ganesha with the following mantra to removethe blemish from Sri 
Krishna. This six word mantra removes the evil energy fromthe sixth house 
(curses, fighting, shad-ripu or the six flaws etc) andtransfers it to the 
fourth house as is indicated by the sixteen syllables. Thetransfer of spiritual 
energies from the sixth house to the fourth house resultsin the gradual removal 
of the curse.

A16 This is the dancing form of Ganesha and the meditationetc, visualize Ganeha 
in a rather jovial, compromising mood.Ucchista Ganesha is worshipped to remove 
domestic disharmony and therelationship with spouse is improved. All sorts of 
troubles with in-laws etcvanish and the family gets together and lives happily. 

For the last two decades wehave advised the placing of a statue of dancing 
Ganesha (idol) near theheadstand of the bed and the relationship between 
couples has improved.Marriages which were on the verge of breakdown have 
smoothened out in a mostmiraculous manner.

A17 Whoever repeats this prayer on Lord Shiva composed by Rishi 
Vashishtaattains that supreme abode of His and enjoys the eternal bliss.

Whoeverrecites the nine stanzas of this powerful prayer will be relieved of all 
hissins, poverty and malady. 
Whoeverrecites this prayer will be bestowed with prosperity and happiness. 
dharithriya = poverty (or) misfortune;thahana = burn to ashes. The misfortunes 
of the devotee who repeats the prayer,will be burnt to ashes.

A18 The birth star is  (JanmaNakshatra), the 10th star is (Anu Janma) and the

A19 First hair cut- the learned say that the "chowlam" is avery important karma 
because it involves the first cutting of hair which means discharge of 
electricalcurrents from the child for the first time. The ceremony when 
properly done is saidto prolong the life of the child. It should not be done 
when the mother of thechild is pregnant. 
Q20 Which are the five types of air inthe body?

A20 Withinthe body, the main air which passes through the nose for breathing is 
called prana. 

The airwhich passes through the rectum as evacuated bodily air is called apana. 

 The air which digests the foodstuffs in the stomach and which issometimes 
heard as belching is called amana. 

 That air which passes through the throat, and the stoppage of which iscalled 
suffocation is called udana.

 The total air which balances and circulates throughout the entire bodyis 
called vyana.

functions. 

 For example, the air that enables us to open our eyes, mouth etc is called 
anga. 

 The air that increases one's appetite is called krkara. 

 The air which enables contraction of the limbs,cheeks, stomach, or in the case 
here of Madhva restraining the hairs in thefollicles of his body, this air is 
called kurma.

There is also the air which helps relaxation by opening the mouth wideby 
yawning and this is called devadatta.

  The air used for sustenancetaking nourishment into the body is called 
dhananjaya.

Lord will appear as Lord Buddha, the son of Anjana,in the province of Gaya, 
just for the purpose of deluding those who are   envious of the faithful
