 Considering yourspecific duty as a ksatriya, you should know that there is no 
better engagementfor you than fighting on religious principles; and so there is 
no need forhesitation.

 SLOKA 37- O son of Kunti, eitheryou will be killed on the battlefield and 
attain the heavenly planets, or youwill conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. 
Therefore, get up withdetermination and fight.

Men of smallknowledge are very much attached to the flowery words of the Vedas, 
which recommend variousfruitive activities for elevation to heavenly planets,

andopulent life, they say that there is nothing more than this.

 All living bodies subsist on food grains, which areproduced from rains. Rains 
are produced by performance of yajna [sacrifice],and yajna is born of 
prescribed duties.

 In   SLOKA 20 it is told   Kings such as Janaka attained perfectionsolely by 
performance of prescribed duties. Therefore, just for the sake ofeducating the 
people in general, you should perform your work.

smoke, asa mirror is covered by dust, or as the embryo is covered by the womb, 
the living entity is similarlycovered by different degrees of this lust.

 Arjuna said:The sun-god Vivasvan is senior by birth to You. How am I to 
understand that inthe beginning You instructed this science to him?

I can remember all ofthem, but you cannot, O subduer of the enemy!

One must deliver himself with the help of his mind,and not degrade himself. The 
mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, andhis enemy as well.

  For him who has conquered the mind, the mindis the best of friends; but for 
one who has failed to do so, his mind willremain the greatest enemy. For one 
who has conquered the mind, the Supersoul isalready reached, for he has 
attained tranquillity. To such a man happiness anddistress, heat and cold, 
honor and dishonor are all the same.

family of rich aristocracy.

 Furtherrefer  SLOKA 43- On taking such a birth,he revives the divine 
consciousness of his previous life, and he again tries tomake further progress 
in order to achieve complete success, O son of Kuru.

 Furtherrefer SLOKA 44-By virtue of the divine consciousness of his previous 
life, heautomatically becomes attracted to the yogic principles--even without 
seekingthem. Such aninquisitive transcendentalist stands always above the 
ritualistic principles ofthe scriptures.

fourkinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me--the

knowledgeof the Absolute.

 Further itis told in   SLOKA 20 - Those whose intelligence hasbeen stolen by 
material desires surrender unto demigods and follow theparticular rules and 
regulations of worship according to their own natures.

 Q14Do demy God worship is approved inGeetha?

A14  It is told in Chapter Seven SLOKA 21  I am ineveryone's heart as the 
Supersoul. As soon as one desires to worship some demigod, I makehis faith 
steady so that he can devote himself to that particular deity.

 Further itis told in  SLOKA 22 that   Endowed with such a faith, he endeavors 
toworship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality 
thesebenefits are bestowed by Me alone.

Q15 What happens by demi God worship?

A15 It istold in  Chapter Seven SLOKA 23   that    Men of small intelligence 
worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited andtemporary. Those who 
worship the demigods go to the planets of thedemigods, but my devotees 
ultimately reach My supreme planet.
