fort ofGolconda. Lord Rama paid the amount to the Sultan and set Ramdas free.

occasions ofworship. There is mere space which represents Nirguna Brahman, 
devoid of allnames and forms. This is the ChidambaraRahasya.

Govindaraja, the presiding deity of aVishnu temple also dwells within this 
temple. The imageof Nandanar, the Pariah saint is in a corner near the Nritta 
Sabha TheDikshatar Brahmins do worship in the temple. There are 250 families of 
Dikshatars
