Pranam
1 Shani: The Yerdanur Shani Temple in Medak district has a 20-foot-tall
statue of Lord Shani; the Bannanje Shri Shani Kshetra in Udupi has a
23-foot-tall statue of Shani, and the Shani Dham Temple of Delhi has the
world’s tallest statue of Shani, carved out of native rock.( SKANDA
PURANAM) Significant epithets for Shani include Saura (son of the sun
god), Kruradris or Kruralochana (the cruel-eyed), Mandu (dull and slow),
Pangu (disabled), Septarchi (seven-eyed), and Asita (dark). Shani is the
son of Surya, the Hindu sun god, and Chaya ("Shade"), a servant of Surya
who acted as surrogate mother for Surya's wife Sandhya. In astrology the
planets Sani, Rahu and Ketu are chaya grahams. At the time birth the
aspecting of the father SUN costed a darkness on SUN which was known as AN
ECLIPSE. Shani according to Surya siddantha takes 10765 days to an orbit
where as the Ptolemy said it is 10758 days; the world says Ptolemy as
father of planets ignoring the surya siddantham, a wonder. Shani's mantra
is depicted here, in sanskrit and english, with the translation

*English: "Om kaakadhwajaaya vidmahae khadga hastaaya dheemahi tanno mandah
prachodayaat''*

Sanskrit: ओम काकध्वजाय विद्महे खड्ग हस्ताय धीमहि तन्नो मंदः प्रचोदयात्

Translation: Om, Let me meditate on him who has crow in his flag, Oh, He
who has a sword in his hand, give me higher intellect, And let Saneeswara
illuminate my mind. THUS SATURN IS NOT SEEN IN VEDAM; but can the black
hole be connected to chaya graham?. KR IRS 11222
