-- *Mar**Who profits by Wars?*
A big Gun costs crores of rupees. Each shell fired from it costs millions. The war planes, their destructive capacity always increasing, the bombs including the nuclear bombs, the big Navy, the space directed rockets, the drones…, all put nations driven to war in permanent debt. Behind the scenes, these arms manufacturers finance the politically ambitious, after taking promise from them, that they will do wars; create restlessness in nations and societies, while the media owned by them whips up the war hysteria. Nations are led by the rotten politicians who always follow the technique,’we-They’, dragging us into the ‘We’ flock or damning us into the ‘They Monsters’. All big banking and big finance, in reality, are war financing. Wars destroy nature, forests, rivers, seas, oceans or put them in permanent sickness, paving the way for the markets for various technologies. Ukraine as part of the Soviet Union actually was a dominant member.Nikita Khrushchev was a Ukrainian. Actually, where was the need to disintegrate the USSR? How is Russia to accept Ukraine joining NATO, and aiming the big guns at the point blank range? Suppose China does deals and aims its Guns on us from Sri Lanka,BanglaDesh,Nepal etc.Already Sri Lanka is debt trapped while Pakistan has become a beggar. Which politician has investments in China? Biden, without informing the government of Afghanistan, but informing the Taliban, suddenly leaves Afghanistan after leaving all arms to the Taliban. Why? Is it not part of the market promotion strategy for the arms manufacturers? When the lunatics, the Talibans start destroying societies, creating terrible unrest, who gets the benefit of big markets? Obviously the American owners of the arm factories located throughout the world. We find articles after articles, debates after debates about the rival claims of the warring nations. But how many articles and debates do we see, about the debt burdens created when arms are purchased? When an arms deal is announced, we find details about the destructive power of the latest weapon, but no details about the debt burden power imposed on the nation.
