Are you cultured  to write in a forum with such abusing language? Are you
really a former IRS? No person hold such a position would use such language.

Mr Rajaram is it English professor  or english professor? You don't have  basic
knowledge in English.Spelling of languages should begin with CAPITAL LETTER.

will have the line of pontiffs as one and 2 as adi shankara and anyone guru of
that place here at karnataka sugavaneswarar; since Koodali was tagged on at
present place Sringeri, Madhava himself wrote the history of Mutt as just 500
to 600 years (1350AD) before he took over when Adi shankarea lived. Even
assuming each pontiff lived for 30 years (may not be in all cases) may be 29
gurus might have been there only ; then if so the present 37th guru as on 2022
of sringeri including the Adi Shankara as first guru followed by
Sugavaneswarar, cannot have lived for average 670 years /34=20 years only
each?.      On the contrary all other Mutts have their 75+ numbered pontiff now
ruling the mutte which is at the ratio o f30 years per pontiff, exceeds 2000
years and a reasonable fact. Sringeri present is a mutt of Vidyaranya Has so
many similar mutts do exist in Karnataka today. The original one was Koodali.
Kumarila Bhatta the brahmin who as a poorva mimasaka wanted to know the
Buddists principles, joined as a fake and was traced out later; his disciple
was Mandana Misrar from Bihar. There is another Vijayam which states that the
debate took place in Madhya pradesh. Nagarjuna and Dharma Keerthi Buddists
(brahmins) lived around these periods of 700 -800 AD as narrated by the history
of the monastery at Tibet which is incorporated in the books as well as in the
Fahien and Yuan tswang self narrations translated. The debates are incorporated
in these periods in those book versions ,where at least 7 different Sanakaras
appear having debated with the head of Nalanda university 750AD Dharnma
keerthi. Dharma keerthi had strict conditions in debates where the loser shall
jump in Ganga and die; thus 7 shankaras died as narrated; Dharma keerthi then
was > 80 years old. Moreover buddhism was waning by that time 800 AD and was
far away from Hinduism in 450 BCE; so as Maha Periava had written in Deivathin
kural, Adi Shankara had nothing to do with the buddisma or its defeat at all.
The madhva vijayam narration speaks about the rift between the karma
kanda and the sanyasa kanda; the Vedic culture of repute was brought down by
the POORVA MIMAMSAKAS LIKE MANDAAN MISHRA'S LIKE  BRAHMINS who like present
Jihadis of brahmins were hell bent on rituals; the falling down of women
started from there only neary since 800 AD. The karma kanda poorva mimasakas
following the principle that only the ritual takes one to brahmam was so
forceful, the mantra tantra cults were ruling the Indian sky. May be it is felt
by some Indologists that Buddhism started around 1000 BCE and later Jainism
adopted by Brahmins also ( even today the title TIRTHANKARA is common in
Sringeri mutt as well as the Jains) contributed to the rituals-adaptations of
tantras by the Buddists and Jains; to counter the Vedic yagnas and cult,
tantras were invoked; so hindu mimaskas poorva and later Uttara mimamsakas,
started forceful rituals where the society was enslaved into harsh customs;
treating women brahmins below par; enforcing similar stringent and pungent
conditions forced upon women; lot of different methods of ritual procedures;
and there the sankara debate is told thus, as between a SANYASI vs GRAHASTHAN
viz shankara and Mandana misra; some say in Bihar some vijayam says at MP; the
crux of the debate is that sanyasis seek refuge under the vedas just to escape
the Grahasthas rituals enforced by the Poorva mimamsakas; theer it is stated in
those vijayams, advaitham was enlightened supposed to be by shankara;  and
power of rituaals were enunciated by Misra; when the garland of Misra given by
Ubhaya bharati was losing the luster, she wanted to advance the arguement of
grahasta comprise of of husband half and wife half; so defeating the husband is
only 50%; so Shankara shall defeat Bharati also; so the debate opened up with
intricate questions of marital dharma posed by Bharathi; Shankara took a break,
did parakaya pravesam in a king's body; then had to return back for the
replies; thus a lead was placed in the madhava vijayam without any historical
basis.          Had Adi shankara existed around 700 AD as an authority HE would
have crossed the Nalanda and even found such history in Tswang and Fahien; but
never recorded anywhere; on the contrary Indonesia, Malaya etc have certain
names in their History;  Adi shankara is the name deciphered by them; also
Dharma Keerthi and sankaras in a half a dozen in the buddhist manuals of Tibet.
Present Sringeri is not founded by Adi shankara; in Karnataka so many Hindu
sankara mutts do make a claim as founded by Adi shankara. Q6,7,8 ?Q9   Did Sita

(when mandara conversed with  Kaikeyi) 4th Jan 5089 BCE; Vali Vadham 3rd apr
5076 BCE; hanuman visit to Sri Lanka 12/9/5076 BCE; Hanuman return back from
Sri Lanka 14/9/5076 BCE; Vanara march for yuddham into Sri Lanka on 20/9/5076
BCE; sita was married to Rama in her 6th year when Rama was 13-14 year old.
(5100 BCE). A few shown here. However similar planets might have occurred a
million years back and so the earlier kalpa and yuga might have had the same
history. Also keep remembering the precision of axis change which led to the
Ramanavami shifted from Jan thai to april chitrai (the chitra keeps changing
according to panchangam).      KR IRs 17322

QUES ANSW DIVINE 03-2022-17

Dear friends,

These are information compiledas QA by me in 1998’s-2004’s and stored in my
computer. They are posted by very learnt members.

BEING COMPILATION THERE MAY BE ERRORS.

Sincerely,

R. Gopalakrishnan, 78, dated 17-03-2022

Q1Who was Sarada?

A1 Sarada wife of Vandana misra was an avtar of saraswathi. SinceSarada was
involved in household duties, she could not be present throughoutthe debate.
So she placed a garland on each of them and saidthat the garland of the
defeated person would fade.

Everyday heated debate was going on. Every day Sarada would go there during
mid-dayand invite Mandana forBhojanam and Sankara for Bhiksha. This continued
for five six days...

Then on one day when Sarada went toinvite them for meals, she found that the
Mala on Mandana’s neck hadfaded.  So she invited both of themtogether for
Bhiksha.

Q2Whether Sankaracharya debated with Sarada?

A2 Yes. Sankara said that if he had to enter into a debate with a womanto
establish his contentions, then that should be done.  Did  notYajnavalkya argue
with Gargi and Janaka with Sulabhaa?

FindingSankara un defeatable in any topic, Sarada thought like this. Sankara
hadbecome a Sanyasi straight from boyhood.  So he would not have known many
things on Sringara sastram.  He was also forbidden to answer suchquestions.
So she started asking himsuch questions.

Ifhe did not reply, he would be  called  as ignorant and be declared defeated.
If heanswered, it would be against his Dharma. So he wanted one month’s time to
answer those questions.  This was agreed to.

Q3What is the story of Sankaracharya becoming king Amaruka?

A3Then Sankara lifted himself in the air and saw a king (called Amaruka) who
had just then died in a forest. His queens and relatives werelamenting.
Sankara lefthis body to be taken care of for one month by his disciples and
entered thedead body of Amaruka.  He asked Amaruka’sson to take care of the
administration. ….

Sankarareturned and defeatedSarada also. Mandana who was defeated in the debate
became the firstdisciple of Sankara with the name of Sureshwaracharya.  He was
appointed as the first Sankaracharyaof Sringeri.  Sankara also built a
templefor Sarada at Sringeri.

Q4Who wrote  about the Mandana misra andsarada episodes?

A4 This episode is as given in SANKARADIGVIJAYAM of Vidyaranya.

Vidyaranyahimself was one disciple -descendant Sankaracharya of  Sringeri. He
was earlier called Madhava and was the Prime Minister of VijayanagarKingdom.

Q5 Do Parur near alwaye has got moretemples?

A5 The reason for so many templesin the region is attributed to the influence
of Travancore State and CochinState rulers who ruled North Parur for many
years.

Also at different times in history,Karnataka Brahmins(Pottie, Embran etc),
Tamil Brahmins (Iyers) and GSB Brahmins (Prabhu, Shenoy,Pai etc) came to this
town, settled here and constructed temples forthemselves and for their workers
who spoke same or similar languages. Some ofthe famous temples found there are:

Sree Venketachalapathi TemplePotten Street, KMK Junction.Sree Venugopalaswami
temple, Chennamangalam. MookambikaSaraswathi Temple- One of the most important
Saraswathy temples in Kerala.PeruvaramMahadeva Temple. Kannankulangara
Sreekrishna Temple

Q6  Is there a theory during Lunar and solareclipse all water  become Ganga
water?

A6 Yes. During times of lunar andsolar eclipse all waters will be considered
equal to Ganga water;  waterin rivers, even if it carries horses, donkeys and
cadaver,will become purified with current.

Q7 Whether  in Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple         , Tiruvananthapuram, Kerala
the idolis made of pure gold?

A7 Yes. The best part of the temple is the huge idol of Lord Vishnusleeping
over the snake is turning intogold(it weighs almost 700 kg)!

It is   believed that when Mahmud of Ghazni invaded India in the middle ages,
thepeople    of the then kingdom invented ablack coating which would not wear
out even  by    the strongest chemicals. They coated the large idol with this so
that the   plunderers wont come to know that its madeup of gold. They were
unable  to  remove the coating after the invaders left. But recently, in the
past 10  yrs   or so the coating is finally wearing outlittle by little.

Q8What is the speciality of Brihadeeshwar temple, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

A8 The Gopuram of this Temple doesnot cast any Shadow. Also the Vimaanam( top
of the gopuram) of thistemple is made of one Single Stone.

Q9 Did Sita desired to end her life in Gangaafter she was left there by
Lakshmana?

A9 Yes, Then she heard the softvoice of the river goddess say, "Let lifego,
Sita. Do not outlive life. Come home. Come home. Dive into me."

Sita was about to step into theriver when she heard the voice of an old man."Do
not enter theriver," he said. Sita looked at the shaggy old man and asked,
"Whoare you?"

"I am Valmiki, a poet and ahermit. I live in this forest. Make my home yours.
"He led Sita to hishome in the forest.

There Sita gave birth to Rama'stwins sons, Kusa and Lava. For the next twelve
years she and her sons livedwith Valmiki.

Q10 When was Ramayana composed? What was theend of Rama and Sita?

A10Sita was living with Valmiki for 25 years with lava and Kusa her twin
sons.During that time, Valmiki composed a poem called the Ramayana. When he
finishedit, he taught the poem to the boys line-by-line. He taught them how to
sing thepoem while playing the flute and drum.

The boys learned well. In Ayodhya,King Rama decided to hold a great public
festival. He invited everyone in thekingdom to take part. There would be music,
story-telling and singing.

Kusa and Lava came to Ayodhya to recitewhat Valmiki called the earth's first
poem.

On the first day of the festival, the boys began singing the story. Rama heard
about this wonderful poem and cameto see it performed. After hearingonly a few
lines, Rama asked, "What is this beautiful song called?"

"Ramayana," said Kusa.

Rama looked at the twins. His heartached with emotion. "These are my sons!" he
declared. He sent amessenger to find Sita and convince her to return to Ayodhya.
The next day Sitareturned. She was dressed in bright gold and scarlet. Rama was
overjoyed.Sita approached Rama and said, "Let me prove my innocence beforeyou
once and for all.""I give youpermission," Rama replied.

Then Sita took a step back and said,"Mother earth, if I have been faithful to
my husband, take me home."

The earth rumbled. The ground rolledand moved beneath Sita. Witha great noise
the ground opened and took Sita back. The earth shook again andclosed.

For that moment, everywhere in thewhole universe, there was harmony.

"I will never see Sita again aslong as I live on earth," Rama said."It is a
brief life given tous."Rama ruledAyodhya for a thousand years.

One day Rama he thought, "Whereis my life? And where am I?I want to go home
now. I was born of the god,Vishnu, and it is time for me to return to him."

Rama left the palace and entered thecrowded street of Ayodhya. Everyone stood
quietly as their king passed.

Rama continued walking until hereached the banks of the Sarayu. He touched its
water with his feet. All thegods looked down on him. Even Brahma, the creator,
came in person to see Rama.

He spoke to Rama: "Come,O Vishnu, join your brothers, Lakshmana, Satrughna, and
Bharata. Return toVishnu. Return to heaven."

With Brahma's words, Rama smiled and stepped into the river. All ofRama's
followers entered the river after him and all went to heaven. Rama washome.

Q11 What is the benefit of listening toRamayana story?

A11 The Ramayana was loved and praised by all. The gods were pleased. Lavaand
Kusa traveled throughout India singing Valmiki's glorious poem about
theirfather.

Whereverthey went they said, "Men who listen to the Ramayana will live a
longlife. They will be free of sins and will have many sons. Women who listen
tothe Ramayana will be blessed with children like Rama and his brothers.

All those who listen please Rama.Such is the glory of this story. May all who
recite it or listen to itregularly find increased love, wisdom, and strength."

AndhraPradesh

A12 The Only Hindu Temple in theworld which is opened evenduring Lunar and
Solar Eclipsesas the Graha Doshas do not effect this Temple.
