Pranam
Dinosaur might be a big one to the west; but Valmiki Ramayanam shows the
height of people then apart from 4 danta elephants etc. If dinosaur denotes
a period 243 million years ago (Paleontologist believe dinosaurs grew so
big in order to gain protection from predators, help regulate internal body
temperature, and to allow them to reach their source of food. Today, whales
are the only animal who are close to the size of dinosaurs.).with 14 feet
height, 6 feet width and 30 feet length; Rama was 8feet tall each hand is 2
feet length. { Brahamanda puranam says kishku is 42inches where as manasara
book of architecture and artha sastra states that kishku is 24 inches.}.
Valmiki Ramayanam sundarakandam 5 35 verse 18 says that
trivaliivaamstryavanatashchaturvyaN^gastrishiirSavaan |
chatuSkalash chaturlekhash chatuSkiSkush chatuHsamaH || 5-35-18
*18. trivaliivaan= He has three folds (in the skin of his neck and belly);
tryavanataH= He is depressed at three places (viz. the middle of his soles,
the lines on his soles and the nipples); chaturvyaN^gaH= undersized at four
place (viz. the neck, membrum virile, the back and the shanks);
trishiirSavaan= He is endowed with three spirals in the hair of his head,
four lines at the root of his thumbs and the four lines on his forehead;
chatuSkalaH= He has four marks on his thumb (denoting his proficiency in
the four Vedas); chaturlekhaH= He has four lines on his forehead
(indicating longevity); c*

Kiṣkuhasta (किष्कुहस्त) refers to “running cubit (24 fingers)}
{ Vāstu-śāstra
1) Kiṣku (किष्कु) refers to the “cubit-scale” , a type of physical
instrument used during architectural measurement. It is used throughout
Vāstuśāstra literature such as the *Mānasāra*, which is a 5th-century
Sanskrit treatise on architectural practice.
2) Kiṣku (किष्कु, “cubit”) is the Sanskrit name for a unit of measurement,
used in Vāstuśāstra literature, according to the *Mānasāra* II.40-53. A
single Kiṣku unit corresponds to 2 Vitasti units. There are 4 different
cubit (*kiṣku*) varieties:
1. Kiṣku comprises 24 *aṅgulas*,
It means Rama was 8 feet tall. By Brahamanda Puranam he was 4*42 =168
inches= 14feet. We say tretha yugam was (in this vaivaswatha manvantara 4.3
million years ago
[image: image.png]Ramayanam may have been 1.3 million years ago. There are
71 *Yuga* Cycles in a *manvantara
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manvantara>* (age of Manu
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manu_(Hinduism)>) and 1,000 *Yuga* Cycles in
a *kalpa <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalpa_(aeon)>* (day of Brahma
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma>). 155 trillion years ago the 1st
manvantaram started. Then plausible 255 million years ago, (dinosaurs'
period in pangeas by the west) is 4.3 million years multiplied by 71= 305
million years minus 50 million years ,that is 70 yugas before. All tall
objects including Rama had existed so long ago might be true. The time
frame may be perplexing but the scientific truth today is viewed in the
olden epics, which cannot be brushed aside. KR IRS 8422
